| In Comparative Diagram 1, we see that these imprints are only very similar in design. So I knew that this binding was not from the Dubuisson workshop, but anyway decided to bid because of the brokat paper. below is the actual ebay listing photo of this. |

We are going to look at this brokat papier in depth a bit later, however I want to show you what I found by searching part of the title of this book as given in the eBay listing:

| With further searching I discovered the binding shown below that bears the arms of François Paul de Neufville de Villeroy, archevêque et comte de Lyon. inside this binding we see again brokat papier. |

| With these references we can guess that our eBay binding may have been made in Lyon probably around 1722 or later. Perhaps a search for these brokat papers will help to pinpoint the date when these bindings were made. |
